Sergey Stanovykh was born in Ukraine Republic of Soviet Union, grew in Russia and studied in Leningrad renamed in Sankt Petersburg later. Since having come to know about East philosophy and yoga in his teenager he had felt a very strong connection with Asian cultures and something of India what he could not perceive clearly at that time. He was a student at the time of huge changes in Soviet Union, Perestroika, Capitalism, Socialism, Privatisation, partition of Soviet Union etc.
